The three-volume piano school Piano Kids is characterized by its simple, systematic structure and uses only well-known, popular songs and pieces. Parallel to each booklet there is an "action book" with playfully conveyed music theory and all sorts of interesting facts (picture puzzles, handicraft and painting tasks, crossword puzzles, exercises for reading and writing music, suggestions for improvisation and much more). In the 3rd (and last) volume the following technical, musical and theoretical topics are dealt with: Double stops in thirds and sixths, scales up to two sharp and flat accents in major and minor, basic rules of melody formation, syncopation, sixteenth notes, eighth note triplets, dotted eighth notes, chromatic scales, decorations and much more The play pieces again offer a colorful mix of folklore, classical and rock and pop music.
