The built-in preamplifier reduces noise and eliminates string grounding. The pre-amp also boosts the tone and delivers a clear true steel-string guitar sound. The pickup requires 2 CR2032 batteries for operation.

HP-1A utilizes the power of neodymium magnets to provide a strong, balanced sonic experience.  

A 1/8" to 1/4" cable is included for easy connection to an amplifier or mixer.
