The Theory of Music, combined with the Solfez study, is the basis for serious music education.
In Music Theory the student is taught the points of music writing, scales and intervals, the measure and the general principles of musical performance. In Solfez, the student is practically practiced with his voice in rhythm and melody, ie in musical reading.
The present Theory of Music is intended for the students of the Conservatories and the various Musical Schools and has been written as much as possible in order to help the student acquire an elementary theoretical musical education.
After acquiring this musical education and the similar practical training at Solfez, the student now has the basic musical bases that allow him to start studying the Harmony course, one of the most important and most interesting disciplines of music art.
