The Guitar Book No.10 is designed for students of the instrument who are preparing to sit for their Degree examinations. It therefore contains 18 pieces that present a number of difficulties with regard to both technique and expression. Particular attention should be paid to the quality, duration and diversity of sound.

As in the earlier books in the series, several works by Greek composers have been included: these works introduce the modern style of writing and contemporary approach to melody, harmony and rhythm. This gesture on their part not only broadens the guitar repertoire, but at the same time also provides students with the opportunity to become better acquainted with contemporary composers through their music.
