The Guitar Book No.9 of this series contains, like the earlier volumes, several pieces written by Greek composers, both well established and new.

The initiative to include their work met with favorable response from the composers, most of them being more than willing to dedicate pieces to these volumes.

The result of their contribution has been, on the one hand, to enrich and augment the classical guitar repertoire and on the other, to provide final-year students with the opportunity to become familiar with the contemporary guitar style.
